Chew Your Food Completely!

Ever hear that from your parents when you were growing up? Bet you hated it. I mean, why take your time eating when your favorite cartoon is coming on in 5 minutes? 

Right? WRONG!!

Turns out that many health and nutrition experts agree with your parents...

Your body generally lets you know that it has had enough food in about 20-30 minutes. When was the last time you took 20-30 minutes to eat ANY meal? 


Size matters not...TAKE YOUR TIME!!

No need to answer that...


When you chew your food thoroughly, you reduce your caloric intake by as much as 100 calories per meal. Think about that for a moment, if you eat just three meals per day slower eating can chop off as much as 300 calories per day! 

If you happen to consume more frequent smaller meals (which also helps to accelerate you metabolism), the impact can be even greater. Digestion problems could also be minimized by changing your eating speed as well.

So remember, eat at a slower rate if you want to lose weight!!
