The Green Tea Imperative (Part 1)

The Chinese people have knowledge about green tea herb as a highly effective medical treatment for around 4000 years.

Based upon ancient loreherbal tea was stumbled upon by Chinese Emperor Shen Nung.

A few tea leaves fell unexpectedly into the pot of boiling water he prepared during a nature walk. He drank it and discovered it was invigorating

Green tea ended up becoming an integral part of the traditional Chinese day-to-day diet.

These days recent clinical studies in both Southeast Asia as well as The West are providing a clinical basis for the statement that drinking green tea leaf extract has exceptionally significant physical health benefits

Green tea, like black tea is created from the leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis.

The distinction between the three principal types of tea is the manner in which they are produced.

Green tea extract is unfermented tea which means that the leaves used in green tea are steamed immediately after been plucked in an effort to hinder the oxidation of the leaves.

Using this method the leaves continue being green.

Additionally the active ingredients within the leaves maintain their attributes.

Black teas alternatively are produced from fermented leaves subsequently have a smaller amount of nutritional and enzyme content as the green tea.

Consequently, green and black teas have diverse chemical qualities

Contemporary scientific research has in recent years had the opportunity to prove that green tea is good for one's overall health and this is primarily because of the fact that tea includes increased levels of antioxidants identified as polyphenols or flavonoids.

The immunity-enhancing abilities of tea have long been compared to that of fruits and vegetables in numerous research studies.

One study came to the conclusion that the daily consumption of three cups of tea generated an equivalent amount of antioxidants as eating six apples.

Antioxidants enable the human body to withstand harmful toxins which cause harm to cells and tissue within your body

Although all tea is nourishing to drink, it's usually green tea which has the highest amount of flavonoids.

Recently available clinical studies depict green tea leaf to be beneficial in a number of areas which includes the following:
  • Enhances the digestive system
  • Lowers bad cholesterol levels
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Reduces high blood pressure levels
  • Natural bone and joint support
  • Decreases oral bacterial levels
  • Fights acne breakouts
  • Lowers blood glucose levels
  • WEIGHT LOSS!!!**
An investigation was performed of ten healthy men during a period of 6 weeks. It became quite clear that those adult males who were given green tea extract expended more calories in a day as compared to individuals who were not given the extract.

A great deal more analysis needs to be carried out on this nevertheless, the early indications are extremely very encouraging.

**Recently published analyses in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition implies that an extract from green tea could possibly accelerate fat oxidation.

More green tea please....
