Black Sesame Seed Remedy
In 1987, Dr. Mao Shing Ni of The Tao Of Wellness Clinic in California and nationally certified herbalist Cathy McNease of Yo San University co-authored a book on alternative treatments called "The TAO of Nutrition", in it, they recommended eating black sesame seeds for chronic constipation. Here's an excerpt from the book: "Grind black sesame seeds into a meal by using a small coffee grinder. Mix with dark honey into a small ball. Eat one three times a day dipped in rice wine."
Black sesame seeds also provide nutrition and action on the liver, intestines, kidney, and blood.
Using sesame and sunflower seeds for constipation makes a lot of sense.
