Treating your acne can be an overwhelming task what with all of the medications available these days. The best way to find treatment for your acne is to first learn about your skin. There are 3 main skin types.

Here's a list of my simple recommendations for what you need to do to keep your skin acne free: Water Is The Key You can prevent acne by drinking at least half a gallon (2 liters) of filtered water in a 24 hour period, this will keep you hydrated and flush out toxins which cause acne. This also allows your body to use it's own natural defenses to fight off bacterial invaders.  When you consistently drink this amount of water, you're fortifying yourself for the next phase in fighting off acne infections. While you're drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, don't forget to rinse your face off with water throughout the day. No soaps, no cleansers just plain old water. Two consecutive rinses one warm and one cool.
